The Socialist Equality Party (SEP) appeals for you to join our drive to win 50 new monthly donors by the end of March.
Donate an hour’s pay a month to help support the work of the Socialist Equality Party (UK). We need resources to build a socialist movement in the working class in opposition to war, inequality and attacks on democratic rights.
The New Year opened with an act of imperialist gangsterism: the US invasion of Venezuela to seize resources and gain geopolitical advantage. This is coupled with a descent into dictatorship and state violence domestically, exemplified by the murder of Renee Nicole Good by ICE agents in Minneapolis.
In the UK, the most right-wing Labour government in living memory is consolidating an imperialist, pro-war, and anti-democratic agenda.
While workers face austerity and authoritarianism, figures like Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana offer false hope. Their initiatives, such as 'Your Party,' provide no way forward for workers to overcome the source of the dangers they confront: capitalism.
Only the SEP can provide the revolutionary perspective and leadership in the class struggle necessary for a fight for socialism.
Why we need your monthly support
The SEP and the World Socialist Web Site accept no corporate or trade union bureaucracy funding. We rely entirely on voluntary contributions from supporters like you.
Securing 50 new monthly donors by the end of March represents a vital step toward political independence for the working class. Your regular donations allow us to:
- Maintain coverage of the drive to war and attacks on democratic rights—news the corporate media suppresses.
- Support activity in workplaces and campuses, including rank-and-file initiatives, public meetings and political lectures.
- Plan strategically rather than relying on one-off appeals.
